Pommy enjoyed creating special campaigns to diverse matters within the Air Force, such as campaign to combat car accidents and speeding; campaign to enlist women to the IAF; campaign to save electricity; and the ongoing campaign to recruit pilots and support ground crew.
For example: in the campaign to combat car accidents and speeding, Pommy showed in one of the posters, a top of the ad Jet fighters and the caption read: Remember! Only they can fly! (Pommy used word play: the Hebrew word to fly an airplane and to speed on the road is the same La’Tus)
Drive Safely!
As part of the above campaign he also showed (see to the left) a picture of a child wearing an adult size fighter jet helmet and the caption read: On the Road my Father doesn’t Fly!
Drive Safely!
Many of the ads, are word play and cannot be translated to English.
On the roads my father doesn't fly
Please drive safely
